We manufacture our natural latex mattress from carefully selected, natural materials, by
by hand, in Germany. For these ecological mattresses we use
100% pure natural latex (natural rubber).
The mattress cover made of organic cotton k.b.A., which we fill with the finest virgin wool, provides a
comforting sleep climate. The super-elastic rubber core gently absorbs every contour of your body

Differences between natural latex and cold foam mattresses

A natural latex mattress consists of natural latex at its core, which is made from natural rubber.
There is no official definition for the term natural latex and so there are
many so-called natural latex mattresses are offered with a lower natural latex content of, for example, 85% or less
and less are offered.

Cold foam mattresses on the other hand, are made of synthetic polyurethane flexible foam,
what a crude oil product is.

Natural latex mattresses

Cold foam mattresses

As a rule, cold foam mattresses are added synthetic latex, sometimes they are extenders such as lime / chalk. The aim in each case is to make the material to make the material more brittle and thus easier to process. Such admixtures interrupt the special molecular structure of natural latex, which makes it so uniquely elastic, so point-elastic.

Among the industrially manufactured mattresses, the cold foam mattress is probably one of the best known. It is inexpensive to manufacture and is a mass as a mass product in many German beds. Due to the low quality, it is actually recommended as a guest mattress at most.
