Mattresses consist of two components: the core and a cover

1. The core carries you and provides the comfort, which needs volume (depending on body weight and sleeping position), stability (for safe lying and long durability) and good elasticity (for adjustment).

2. The cover made of organic cotton and virgin wool regulates the nightly climate and determines the cuddle factor.

Choose the mattress core first, then the mattress cover.

From 160cm (18cm core from 140cm) we supply two cores of half width, (because of the weight). You will not feel any crack.
If for personal reasons a continuous core is absolutely necessary, please note in the comment field or inform by email.

Each sleeping place and each mattress needs a climate layer that regulates the nightly moisture balance.
In the Ergovlex Sleep System, these zones are separated from each other in order to increase the comfort and the variety.
In a double bed you can also use two individual mattresses with a shared topper, for a big, mutual lying area. Pick your climate topper according to your individual needs.

Topper Natural Latex X5

The comfort maker … If you want to lie comfortable, with point-based support, gently wrapped in fine materials, then the topper X5 (X5 /sensitive) the ideal addition to your bed.
It raises your sleeping area by around 8cm and refines the sleeping environment with climate-regulating merino wool.

A topper can't completly compensate a overly old or simply bad mattress. But it noticably changes your rest with its quality. This Topper is for people weighing between 50kg and 100kg to compensate hard surfaces. The topper X5 horsehair can compensate a spring mattress or hard sofa completly.

Leichte Menschen sowie sensible Seitenschlafende sind besser beraten mit dem X5 /sensitiv oder X5 Rosshaar /sensitiv.

Topper Natural Latex X5 /sensitive

Our most comfortable topper. If you want to lie gently and snugly, gently wrapped in fine materials, like in a nest, then this topper is a perfect choice.
It raises your sleeping area by around 7cm and ensures the right sleeping climate with good merino wool (vegan with organic cotton, on request).

The topper X5 /sensitive supports a gentle, supple resting, or in other words harmonizes lying down by compensating for on an uncomfortable surface. The topper cannot completely compensate for a bad or saggy mattress and can only really develop its effect on a firm/hard surface. However, it does this in a clearly noticeable and lasting way.

To stabilize your sleeping area or if you want to be able to vary, then there is the topper X5 horsehair /sensitive, with one-sided horsetail hair layer.

Heavyweight people and stomach sleepers should look at the topper X5 or the topper X5 horsehair.
Heavier people (>90-130kg) should consider the topper X8, with thicker latex core.

Topper horsehair

The climate topper horsehair is strong and gently, makes the surface of your bed a little firmer, or better: more stable. We use fine-grained horsetail hair, which has very good elasticity and is very climate-active. For a soft touch and because of its antistatic effect, we coat the horsehair with fine cotton from controlled organic production. If you sweat a lot in phases or are looking for more stability for the prone/supine position, then the horsehair topper is the right choice.

Topper Wool W4

Strong Merino sheep's wool creates a balanced sleeping climate and provides you with a comfortable, hygienic, dry sleeping place. In addition to the climatic properties, the topper, especially for light people, provides gentle pressure relief if your mattress is a little too firm on the surface. Mattresses that are too soft, on the other hand, are somewhat stabilized. (An inadequate mattress cannot be made into a good one by a topper alone). This climatic topper is suitable for everyone, including wool-sensitive people, because the wool is washed at high temperatures and the lanolin content is reduced to a minimum. We keep some lanolin (wool wax) in it for hygiene, which may make the topper smell a bit 'sheepy' in the beginning. The wool topper should lie in the fresh air for an hour every now and then - this regenerates the hygienic effect of the wool.

For cotton fans or particularly sensitive people. The cotton topper with 2000 g/m² is made of the finest organic cotton fibers in an organic cotton cover. Mild, dry, hygienic sleeping climate, odorless, antistatic, skin-friendly. The cotton topper is made of 100% organic cotton (except for the zipper) and appreciates an occasional sunbath, which cleans and refreshes the fibers.

Mattress cover organic soft

The cover organic soft is made of cotton terry in 100 % kbA quality and from German production. The quilted-in virgin sheep's wool (500 g/m²) is our extra-bulky French open land virgin wool, which ensures a pleasant, hygienic bed climate.
The inside of the cover is made of cotton jersey. The mattress cover has an all-around zipper and four grip tabs for airing and turning. Covers lined with virgin wool fleece are generally not washable. The auto-hygienic effect of natural wool also makes this unnecessary. For keeping it clean, a molton cover is recommended.

In the case of the organic satin cover, the cotton cover fabric (organic, GOTS) is woven in a fine atlas weave, which means it is supple but has a little stretch. The adaptation to the body is, therefore, firmer than with the other covers. The cover is quilted with our French open land virgin wool from France, of course also equipped with a circumferential zipper and turning loops. The inside is made of single jersey (GOTS). Covers lined with virgin wool fleece are generally not washable. The auto-hygienic effect of natural wool also makes this unnecessary. For keeping it clean, a molton cover is recommended.

This exceptionally fine double jersey* cover made of 100% organic cotton (GOTS) convinces with its smooth surface and high elasticity. Thanks to the circumferential zipper you can remove it and wash it up to 60°C.

The climate function of the mattress regulates the separate climate insert, which lies on the mattress core and is also covered by the cover. You have a choice of different materials: The new wool, 500g/qm, is the classic climate fleece, it can regulate humidity in the best possible way and ensures lasting hygiene.
The cotton, 500g/qm, also has good air conditioning and is anti-static, but does not last as long.
Peat mixed with wool, 750g/sqm, thus brings the same properties plus increased heat generation.

* "Double Jersey / Double Cloth / Double Face" is elastic, stores body heat well and promotes a soft lying sensation. Two layers of cloth are knitted together, a noble one on the upper side, a simple one on the underside and in between a soft filling thread is drawn in, which makes the finished cloth softer and allows heat to be stored better. Our double jersey is a soft, heavy Belgian quality made of organic cotton, n.b.A. (GOTS).

Satin is a weave type of weaving in which the thread orientation is very straight and therefore heat conductive on the one hand, but also has good elasticity for a fabric. Our satin is 280g/sqm heavy, very stable and made washable by sanforization, a mechanical pre-washing process.

Satin Protector Organic

Our satin protector made of organic cotton protects the mattress in a simple and fair priced way against sweat. It lays on the surface, held in position by corner rubbers, is easily washable up to 60°C and put back on.

Satin fabric is particularly dense and warmth conducting - two attributes which (also) contribute to this purpose. Of course made of 100% organic cotton in IVN best quality.

(For production-related reasons the protector is about 2cm narrower and shorter than the mattress.)

Molton protector (flannel/beaver)

Molton is a thick, soft flannel cloth made of cotton. The molton protector absorbs moisture and keeps the surface clean, lying down becomes slightly firmer. Molton is the easiest and cheapest way to keep the futon or mattress clean. Fastened with corner rubbers, moltons protect against sweat / stains, bind mite feces, and are washable at 60°C.
Our moltons are in organic quality (kbA / IVNbest).

Note for sensitive people: The molton cloth increases the temperature minimally and can therefore be unfavorable for warm types in summer. It also makes the surface slightly firmer, which can reduce the effect of a soft topper.
If you notice this, you should not use the corner rubbers and replace the molton protector on a regularly.
