Framed Slats
Solid, metal free* solid wood bed slats that carry any mattress with decent breathability. As a rule, beech wood is used, in exceptional cases and with special dimensions, another type of wood (mostly linden) is also possible.
The lateral frame has a height of 4 cm. It contains 23 bars (each measuring 5 cm x 2 cm) with gaps of about 3.8 cm in-between at a length of 1.95 m. From a width of 120 cm, the slat thickness is 5 cm x 2 cm. Frames are always 4‑8 cm shorter and around 1 cm narrower than the nominal dimensions so that they can fit into any bed.
This frame can - as opposed to the roll-up slats - also be used in beds without slatted frame support. It reduces the inlay depth of the bed by 4 cm / 8 cm.
Width 140 cm will generally be made with a length support strip for having a stable base also for two persons (* this brace is currently secured with screws). The pillar in the middle has to be cut to right height or taken away if one person use.
Delivery information: Due to the relatively high delivery costs for orders that mainly consist of a single slatted frame, we reserve the right, depending on the region, to cancel the order or, in consultation with you, to deliver it at a later date or, if available, promptly against payment of shipping costs. We will be happy to calculate the additional charge for you.
