Papiervase

Paper vase in different colors by Pepe Heykoop ... from a charity project in an Indian women's shelter. With the paper vase, every bottle can be transformed into a decorative vase. The paper vase is made of water-resistant paper, which is composed of a triangular structure. With this structure, most bottles can be wrapped, by folding and rolling the shape can be adjusted. They are handmade in Mumbai. It was invented by Pepe Heykoop, a Dutch designer. After his studies, Pepe Heykoop founded a workshop in Mumbai.

Together with the Tiny Miracles Foundation, which was founded by his cousin Laurien Meuter, he wants to improve the living conditions of the local Pardeshi community and give them a perspective for a better life. The goal is to bring these people out of poverty and into the middle class by 2020. They want to achieve this goal by providing information, improving health care, education, and creating jobs. Pepe Heykoop educates the people of the Pardeshi community so that they are able to manufacture furniture and make a living from it in the future.
